This is patched! I tried exactly this exactly as you did with the exact weapons and the menu was never overloaded, even had a friend who has successfully did the duplication glitch on his switch try it and he couldn't do it either on his own switch after ver 1.06. ver 1.06 has patched this

ok i broke three consols out of rage because getting multishot bows are harder than winning the powerball for me, there has got to be a way to do this glitch for people who suck at the game so bad that even having 30 hearts i die by basic enemies

I did it, BUT... The obliterator doesn't shine. That makes the weapon is the weakest of all, even though it has unlimited durability.
